The beginning of September signifies the start of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and in an effort to support the cause St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will be holding their nationwide St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer. The city of Springfield is proud to take part in the event, which will held on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, and will hold a local walk/run at Field House Sportscenter for all who would like to support the cause.
